All types of bank cards with Visa/Mastercard/Napas logo issued by all banks in Vietnam can be used. Applies to both physical and non-physical cards like ApplePay/SamsungPay/GooglePay. Additionally, electronic wallets (VNPT, Shopee, Momo, Zalo…) are also supported but more prone to errors than cards. Foreign Visa/Master cards can also be tapped but will incur foreign currency conversion fees 😉
Students can also pay with bank cards yesssss 😘
P/s: Remember to tap again when getting off to finalize the fare. Otherwise, you'll pay the full station fare (similar to abroad)
