🙆🏻♀️ I just had a 30-day self-guided trip across China, so I want to share some experience preparing items for Harbin with -25 degree weather. Hope this post helps everyone ❄️❄️☃️☃️
✅Book flights and hotels on trip, agoda, (read each previous guest's review carefully, check if near center or not, train station proximity is very important, distance from hotel to train station should be 200m-1km, room should have washing machine, e-sim for internet connection
✅Thermal clothing should buy at uniqlo, coat should buy one thick one before, then buy here. Shoes also buy one pair of non-slip sports before, then buy here (not mandatory), socks gloves and fur hat are very important (should be waterproof, windproof)
✅Thermos flask
✅Nivea moisturizer, lip balm
Painkillers, cold medicine, stomach pain medicine, salonpas wind oil, especially body heat patches, for phone, for camera
3C charger plug (flying from Vietnam immigration didn't ask, but domestic flights check very strictly)
✅Portable foldable hanging hook,
1 small backpack or handbag for street walking to hold small items.
Large suitcase should leave some empty space because buy a lot here.
✅Install apps like Alipay, wechat, amap, dianping..
✅Can buy instant noodles, noodle porridge, coffee (but not necessary because very cheap here)
✅Should learn duolingo Chinese a bit basic things like hot or cold, sweet or not sweet, counting, hello thank you
This trip of mine is not a KPI-achieving trip so I traveled leisurely, relaxed, eating and learning culture mainly, and also to ensure health for the journey across China 🙆🏻♀️
